Calvin J. Coseo

Joint-Venture Partner

Upon entering Coseo in 2009 Calvin J. Coseo was tasked with acquisitions, asset management, investor relations as well as to rehabilitate, lease, and sell nearly 3,000 single-family homes around the country. He also spearheaded the formation of software to coordinate each home acquired, sold or leased. The software he wrote also tracked 1,200 real estate Brokers and 800 contractors working for Coseo at the time. In 2014 Calvin formed CEI and partnered with his father at CPI. Since then they have acquired eight multi-family properties totaling 1,115 units throughout Michigan and three office complexes totaling over 375,000 square feet.

Mr. Coseo graduated in 2006 from California State University, Chico, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and emphasis in Marketing. He immediately put his marketing and business training to the ultimate test by starting his own company, CALTURF, a firm offering design and installation of synthetic lawns for homes and athletic fields. After three years of successfully running and growing the artificial turf business, Mr. Coseo switched fields to pursue his dream job – working side-by-side with his father at Coseo – and learning the business of industrial, commercial, and residential real estate from the ground up.

Mr. Coseo is actively involved in community service and has served as a director of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater San Diego since 2011. In addition to providing leadership and fundraising assistance, he is on the North County Committee for An Evening of Changing Lives, an event that raises over $1 million annually benefited by over 25,000 children.
