Cote Perkins

Vice President, Acquisitions

Cote Perkins’ experience in real estate began shortly out of college in 2010 in the residential real estate industry brokering over $45 million dollars worth of deals. Cote is the latest addition to the Coseo team joining in 2014 as Vice President of Acquisitions.  He identifies markets in which to invest and performs feasibility studies, financial analysis and due diligence for all new real estate acquisitions. He designs an initial budget forecast and a long term plan for each acquisition. He also works with lenders and attorneys in each acquisition.

Cote has the unique ability to convey the Coseo ethics and business integrity and provides an air of trustworthiness with real estate brokers. Therefore, brokers will show him deals because they know they will be treated with fairness and respect. This is especially evident in the five properties Coseo acquired in 2018. He not only exudes an air of camaraderie with brokers but as important contributes creativity in designing transactions and helpfulness with all involved. During the deal closing period he works closely with the Coseo executive staff and all third party closing staff, in particular our attorneys, title vendor, property managers, and brokers working on the project. He also forms a takeover list comprised of tenant takeover correspondence, selection of property management, hiring leasing broker, capital expense calendar and other matters unique to that particular property.

Cote holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and coached football for two years at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, before returning to his roots in Southern California to begin his real estate career. He lives in San Diego with his wife Lydia and son Gordie.
