Douglas K. Kinoshita joins Coseo with over 36 years’ experience managing the accounting departments, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax preparation for various real estate investment firms including Trizec Hahn, Burnham Pacific Properties and Arlen Capital.
He was most recently controller for HP Investors, a privately held commercial real estate management and advisory company in San Diego. There he was responsible for managing the firm’s accounting department, implementing real estate accounting software, training and supervising the accounting staff, and overseeing property records, acquisitions onboarding and assisting in tax and budgeting matters.
As Coseo Controller, Doug is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting matters associated with operating, maintaining, upgrading, and disposing of Coseo’s real estate portfolio. He is responsible for certifying the accuracy of accounting information and receipts.
